For a let’s say a “western” public, what happens is this small village in Haryana, half an hour from New Delhi is unbelievable. Mangar is home to approximately eight-thousand people most of whom have never been to a proper doctor. Of course, there is one. Well, officially. “He just touches your belly and gives you anything”, explains a volunteer from the Mangar school.
Ila Lumba, founder of the Mangar School had to call for a doctor to come and check the villagers. Today, Decembre 7th, the Med Camp is eventually taking place in the school.
